first_imgS Club 8: Sundown Out now Formerly known as S Club Juniors; like S Club 7, but with a higher ratio of girls to boys, and without a fat one who secretly wants to be in a nu-metal band, S Club are back. Their record company seem to have decided it’s alright for them to record a song about going out on a Friday night, complete with a bit where two of them sing a duet which hints that they might be having their first tentative fumbles in a burnt-out Ford Focus. The song’s fine, but it has great potential for the disruption of society; it’s also very attractive material for lazy Entz reps. Starbucks teams with Pod for healthy menu trial

first_imgHigh street coffee giant Starbucks has teamed up with healthy food outlet Pod. Selected food from the 23-strong London-centric chain’s breakfast and lunch ranges will be available at three Starbucks stores in central London for a trial period from today (25 September). A few recipes have been developed exclusively for Starbucks.Customers will be able to choose from nutritious seasonal food options, including scrambled eggs with wholegrain toast and bee pollen Bircher Muesli to a shredded pork wrap and barbecue chicken Hot Pod.The three stores involved in the trial are in Harewood Place off Oxford Circus, Moorgate and Pentonville Road. They have co-branded menu leaflets to help customers choose from the broader range of breakfast and lunch options.Steve Flanagan, marketing and category director, Starbucks UK, said: “We believe that great coffee deserves to be paired with great food, and we’re very excited to be trialling this food partnership with Pod.“We’re committed to giving our customers choice – there are over 80,000 ways to customise our drinks – and this new partnership with Pod demonstrates our continued commitment to exploring how we can deliver a more improved food offering.”Tim Hall, founder of Pod, added: “We are proud of this partnership with Starbucks, a company which, like my own, was set up by one individual who had a passion and vision for their business.
