The IBBI issued the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Liquidation Process) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2020 to insert Rule 47A in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Liquidation Process) Regulations, 2016. The newly inserted Regulation states : “Exclusion of period of lockdown. 47A. Subject to the provisions of the Code, the period of lockdown imposed by the Central Government in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak shall not be counted for the purposes of computation of the time-line for any task that could not be completed due to such lockdown, in relation to any liquidation process.”.Earlier, the IBBI had exempted lockdown period for the computation of time-line for activities related to CIRP.That was done on March 29 by issuing the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Insolvency Resolution Process for Corporate Persons) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2020 to insert Rule 40C in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Insolvency Resolution Process for Corporate Persons) Regulations, 2016.Click here to download notificationRead NotificationNext Storylast_img read more

Publix to start one-way isles to further social distancing

first_imgTo further encourage social distancing, Publix is implementing one direction shopping isles.The grocery chain says the new measure will hopefully create more space between customers searching for items on the same isle by cutting down on the traffic flow:“The health and well-being of our customers, associates and communities are our top priority,” a spokesperson for the company said in a statement to WPTV. “To help with customer traffic flow, we have added directional markings, companywide, to our aisles. This will allow customers and associates to better distance themselves while on the aisles.”The news comes in conjunction with other measures such as employees being able to wear gloves and face mask after several Publix employees became ill.The store has also installed Plexiglas barriers between cashiers and customers, and no-touch pay options at some locations.last_img read more

Teams set to challenge for boys’ county crown

first_img Tags: Boy’s County Finals Teams from BB&O – Berks, Bucks & Oxon – Somerset, Staffordshire and Yorkshire will meet this week to decide the English Boys’ County Championship.The action will start tomorrow and unfold over the three-day competition at Northamptonshire County Golf Club.Somerset are seeking their first title; Staffordshire and BB&O will target their second after their previous wins in 2013 and 1999 respectively; and Yorkshire will aim for their seventh outright crown and their eighth overall, including a tied result in 2004.The championship will be played from Tuesday to Thursday, 29-31 August, and is a round robin competition, with three foursomes each morning and six singles in the afternoon.Tomorrow, Somerset will take on Yorkshire in match one, while Staffordshire play BB&O in match two. On Wednesday the match one winners play the match two losers; and the match two winners play the match one losers.
