first_imgThe Director General of the GAA says he’s ‘surprised’ that some people in Tipperary think the county football team can’t consistently compete at the highest level of the game.Paraic Duffy made his comments during a presentation on the proposed revamp of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship at this week’s County Board meeting.Some delegates said they feared that replacing the current knock-out quarter-finals with a Group Stage would make it harder for counties like Tipp to reach the semis.last_img
