Paul Finebaum, a name synonymous with the SEC, has reached a multi-year deal with the company to remain a key contributor for the SEC Network and ESPN.The Worldwide Leader had some competition, but landed one of the biggest free agents in the media landscape this summer. Finebaum isn’t going anywhere.The details of his deal were not released. However, ESPN is calling this a “multiyear contract extension” that will see Finebaum continue as host of The Paul Finebaum Show and as an analyst on SEC Nation.Finebaum spoke with ESPN about the news.“I’m thrilled to be a member of the ESPN family and look forward to continuing our show on SEC Network,” Finebaum said. “I consider myself incredibly blessed to do this every day, and I’d like to thank everyone at ESPN, as well as all of our loyal listeners and viewers, for their support.”Fox Sports and the Big Ten Network in the running to land Finebaum.
